Physical contact?

Are you a tactile person? Do you like physical contact? is it more with the same gender / opposite or equally balanced? Is touching someone’s back / arms / face flirty or just friendly?

I personally don’t like physical contact except from trusted friends.

I am “tactile”. I’m older than everyone where I work. Sometimes I touch the other employees on the shoulder when I speak with them for emphasis. I’m old enough to be their dads. If I do that it’s when I’m saying something of importance and then I make sure to keep my distance afterwards.

but they seem to feel more comfortable with me afterwards. Nothing creepy. Who needs that? But sometimes a person needs to know that they can express themselves freely because they’re just trying to figure things out.

I cannot do that with female employees. I don’t. I wouldn’t dare try. They’re just going to have to figure stuff out on their own. I have too much to lose. It’s not worth helping out someone who might try to destroy me when I’m just trying to be helpful.

I like physical contact whenever I can get it
