How hard is it to find a girlfriend in college?

So I started college and spoke to a lot of girls and I think they liked me/ or at least liked talking to me. But so far I failed to get a date because I was talking to a girl who played me.

Should I just ask for a date right after I meet someone at a party/event?

I'm good-looking, and can a start conversation easily.

I can’t speak for everyone but if he can strike up a conversation and I feel there’s a little bit of a rapport going on, then I feel more comfortable saying yes to a date. Nothing is worse than going out with someone and figuring out you have nothing in common and there’s uncomfortable silences and you’re stuck. So it’s not rocket science. Just be yourself. Don’t be pushy and if the conversation is moving along easily, just ask. Some might still say no but that’s part of dating. Some might say yes. Also, don’t be discouraged if you get turned down. I turned down my boyfriend the first time he asked. He was cool about it and we stayed on good terms. When I got to know him better I changed my mind.

What? You just started college and immediately want to date girls? They to at least study the first year and figure out what's what. People dont go to college to date with girls. You need to sacrifice at least 1st year on your studies. I dont know how it's in your country, but in mine getting aerospace degree was fucking difficult, especially first 3 years.

Finding "a" girlfriend in college is not difficult.

Finding a good one that will last and develop into a long term, meaningful relationship however... Not so easy, though it really depends on if you're looking in the right spots. Party scenes, probably not. Church groups and hobby clubs are much more likely.

This can be a little tricky. You will usually not yet be able to use your resources to help attract girls. On the other hand you will know that she appreciates you as a person and not just for your job or status.

At the first meeting best just get her number and then text her within 24 hours after that. Try to get a date soon while texting.

Do not waste time with a girl who does not want you. Only follow up if she sends positive signs.

I was in Jr. College for at least 9 semesters and I was never able to find one. I even cross-registered two a couple major universities a few times, they were SWARMING with women and I STILL never met one!! Even the girl I nearly married was spending most of her time at one of them and I never met her the while time I was there!! I met her after a gig I was talked into playing years after my main periods of being in college!

My man, it has been proven, times and times again, it always, ALWAYS comes down to how you look. If you are 7.5 or above you be getting more girls than you can physically handle, anything below that or anything below 5 mark you are screwed.

I honestly never even considered a relationship in college. I had too much on my plate already between work and studying. I imagine it would have been very difficult to add a relationship to it.
