Can a girl be interested in you but doesn't really touch you?

i'm dealing with this girl. We make eye contact, she compliments me, and she often smiles at me. She even plays around with me by giving me random stuff and saying stuff that it's my birthday even though she doesn't know my birthday. Once there was this box on the table. she asked me if it's a gift from her. I told her it belonged to someone else. She laughs at some of the comments I make (even though they're not funny). But she doesn't touch me. I broke the touch barrier by slightly touching her hand a little bit, but she still didn't touch me. I like her, but I'm not sure if she's actually interested in me or if she just wants to play with me. if she is interested in me, what should I do?

I asked her questions in class before, but she usually replies and asks me the same thing.

she doesn't really do it all the time, she usually ignores me. I don't think she acts this way towards the other guys, even the guys she's more familiar with.

She was sitting behind me in class, and I looked back to see how was there, and she copied me by looking in the same direction I was. I turned my head, and she turned her head in the same direction. I'm trying to play hard to get because of a few things:

For one thing, she waves to me a little more than necessary, and she has told me that she wanted my attention when I asked her why she waved at me. I have this tendency to think that a girl is leading me on or she doesn't really like me for who I am.

she could like you. I've liked guys without ever touching them before. Most girls don't really put touching a guy high on the list of ways to show interest. If you want to find out for sure, just change the vibe. Compliment her on how pretty her eyes or smile is. Ask her to go see a movie. You could even ask her to go with you as friends and see where it goes. Flirt hard and show interest. If you take her to a romantic comedy and she gets figety when the actors are going to kiss or something, she probably is interested.

Hmm, she could or couldn't be interested in you.I'm like that with my guy friends that I am not interested in.And if I am interested in one, I still act that way haha.

She could probably just be the not-so-touchy/flirty type like myself and is waiting to see your intentions if she's interested.Meaning.waiting for you to make a move?

i think she is interested in you, but doesn't think that you like her back so she is holding back a little so she isn't being too obvious, ask her to hang out sometime and see what she says. if I was acting this way, it would mean that I liked you. good luck :)

A girl told me she likes me, we workout together but she like never touches me but sometimes I'll playfully touch her like pat her shoulder or grab her arm when I'm picking on her for being scrawny lol. I even touched her hands to put them in place a couple of times especially on the bench press. She says nothing I do bothers her even though I feel like it does sometimes.

Yes, she could be interested in you. Some people just aren't overly touchy. I mean, assuming that she's not naturally overly flirtatious, she's clearly interested in you. Touch can be something that requires quite a bit of time before it is accepted.

I know that I never think about touching the guys I like because for us girls, (or at leas tsome of us) attraction is all in the mind and heart. I can get an emotional high just by talking to someone or being in the same room with someone. touching them. most of them time, never crosses my mind.

she's proably shy. I know when I like someone I don't always touch them. They might think I'm crazy or something lol we think the total opposite of what you guys are thinking. We might think "oh crap, he might think I'm too touchy feely" so don't stress over it, it sounds like she likes you ;)

As to your update, there are some guys I'm familiar with but touch a lot more and that's only because I'm not interested in and there's no sexual tension. The ones I don't hug or generally touch all that much are the ones I might feel something more for. Touching doesn't necessarily mean she's attracted.it could mean quite the opposite.

My best friend is a girl who would do all those things and not touch yet be crazy for a guy! I on the other hand I'm very touchy! just depends on the girl.

and when I myself am into a guy, I would never touch him , AT ALL !

I have a question. This girl friend zoned me months ago. There were hard feelings. I really really like her. She high fived me frequently to enforce the friend zone but she stopped suddenly one day. She touches my shoulder sometimes. We work together so it's a professional boundry thing. She's moving and I said I'll visit you, you visit me, we'll work it out. And she said yes we will.

Anyway she knows I'm not giving up. I think she likes me, I've noticed changes in her. I was way too agressive before.

Could she be reacessing?

She could be shy. I'm like that with a guy friend I like. I'm nto the touchy flirty type. So that could be her issue. So you may need to make a move first.
