A guy at my work stares at me &asks me how I'm doing when we're alone but for the rest of the day he basically ignores me. Now does he like me or not?

It depends what you mean by ignore you. If you try talking to him and he intentionally ignores you this is a problem. But if you don’t talk to each other then maybe there is something else.

I would say. Next time he talks to you. Try talking to him a little bit and if you like him try seeing if he will meet you for coffee.

Maybe he is introverted. But it’s not normal to ignore someone whose trying to talk to you. That’s rude.

No, he isn't rude, he doesn't ignore me when I ask him something but I don't hear or get much from him, he just stares.

In the case he doesn’t like you. You have closure. You’re not waiting around on someone who doesn’t even like you.

Reminds me of this time at work, i don't think she ever stared or did any more than glance at me, though one time when we were briefly alone working a separate area of the workplace, she did ask me "how are you" and it just seemed kind of random. I guess it's like asking someone how are they, after asking them twice, thrice. 👀👀 so I'd like to leave ambiguous how to this day I wondered, just like one other time a woman started talking to me and ongoing talking to me, and that hardly ever happens, ever, unless it's some older woman wanting directions or you know.
