I got a very nice job and my silly self flirted too much and now the owner of the company asked me out on a date, I am not interested to go out, I was just flirting because I like flirting.
I have to somehow find a way to get myself out of this situation and still be able to not hurt my job.
Flirting is teasing. It's enticing a person to come closer... to be more intimate. Unfortunately, people often think it's cute when little girls tease their daddy, so the behavior is reinforced from a young age and becomes a habit. Girls see the attention they get from flirting as boosting their ego, self-esteem and value as a woman. It also raises their likelihood to become a victim, as they're inviting potentially unwanted attention. As long as you flirt, you'll have to deal with those who take you up on that implied offer. Hopefully, you'll never encounter someone who won't take no for an answer.
In this particular situation, you can tell him you don't date co-workers or those who have authority over you, but don't tell him this and then continue to flirt with him.
Just say you don't see him that way/don't want a romantic relationship.
I'm sure you already know this.. But don't flirt because you like flirting. Causes way too many headaches and the other person think you led them on. Even worse if you do when there's power play involved.. work of all places especially.
Simplest thing is to say you're already going out with someone, and you didn't mean anything other than harmless flirting. Apologize PROFUSELY and STOP DOING IT!!! Heavens.

Flirting without wanting to date someone is a red flag you have. Nobody is perfect and we all have stuff to work on but just letting you know its good to consider working on removing that behaviour.
