If somebody was to give you a compliment, would you think they're telling the truth?

Has something to do with the context of the compliment. If you're in a bar and everyone is a bit buzzed... well there's that... Grain of salt situation.

If it's a woman complimenting another woman about some fashion item, women are always telling you the truth about those kinds of choices... They tell you when something really impresses them.

Between men and women, it varies. If it's a neutral compliment that has no sexual overtones, I'd say it was genuine. Otherwise.. depends...
