Was a bartender flirting with me?

A few days ago I went to a bar and was served by a bartender who from the start had a flirty and playful behaviour. I didn't take it personally but at the end after I paid he tried engaging in a small talk with me
- complimenting my name, asking where I was coming from, he also slightly touched my arm, smiled at me and was winking an eye. I'm not sure if this just an act and trying to get tips or was it genuine flirting

Before I was ever married, I flirted with an awful lot of servers and bartenders, and nothing ever really came to fruition. I met my wife, who was the server, and it took 2 to 3 visits to that establishment before she blatantly gave me her number and said call me. That's how I knew she was interested.

I got rejected so many times by servers and bartenders, I eventually made up a rule to not ask them out on dates. We celebrate 20 years of marriage in a few months.

I work as a bartender and often flirt with ladies I serve, I believe most of them like it. I often compliment them on looks or ask innocent questions.
