It means they need to stay in their lane and mind their business. It depends on their definition of controlling. Maybe your partner is or isn’t. I have no idea. But concern or not. It’s wrong to flirt with someone in a relationship, but flirting is subjective.

Tell your coworker to mind his or her own fucking business

If they are flirting with you knowing that you are with someone says more about them. My honest opinion is to not late them disrespect your partner. Coworkers should remain coworkers.
