What should I do when I dont like my crush anymore but he still likes me? I dont want to hurt his feelings but how do I get him to not ask to dance?

I’m not gonna lie, it will sting a little. if he likes you a little more than you like him, there’s always going to be that risk


the beautiful part that i am reading here is that you are in touch with your feelings. you know how you feel about him, aren’t willing to string him along, and won’t lose yourself to please a person who likes. that is very mature and i salute you


i would approach one of his friends and kinda get an idea of whether or not he’s planning on asking you to dance. if it sounds like is, ask his friend to break it to him gently that aren’t feeling it and that a dance proposal isn’t necessary. if he has good friends, they’ll be nice about it and be cognizant of his feelings.


hopefully after that, you won’t have to do anything more. he’ll lose interest and move on

Unfortunately you can't control if he asks you or not. He either will or won't. Now you can try and persuade him not to by not showing any interest. Just ignore him and go about your day and hopefully he gets the picture. If he does ask tho then just be polite about it. I know you don't want to hurt his feelings and that is nice of you. All you have to say is that thank you but I think I am just going to go to this dance with friends. That should be all you need to say and end of conversation. He should get the picture that you are not interested at that point. Hopefully he gets it before.
