Guy friend does he like me?

So i met a guy through a girl friend of mine. I've seen him a couple times in a group setting when we were going out for parties. We talked a bit those times but nothing special. Since some weeks i have him on snapchat. So two weeks ago the guy asked me on snapchat if i wanted to go to a party with him. So i asked who else was coming ( i thought the people we both know would be there) But he said some acquaintances of his. And himself. He said i should let him know if i would come. So a week later, my friend ( the girl friend we both know) asks me if i would come to the same party (the same party he asked me to come). I said yes to her. Cause by then i knew i was going for sure. So i send him the message that im also going to the party. I expected him maybe to be excited, but he just asked me with who am i going? Im a bit confused, since he asked me to come and now he asks me with who am i going with. I don't know if i should just say with him. Of say ik going with my friend I don't know.

Well I didn't reject his invitation. He said i should let him know if i was coming. And a week later I did say i was coming. And he just asked with who qm i going instead of a positive response. My friend asked me also. But i didn't tell him that yet. Whag shpuld i answr

maybe it was just a misunderstanding. Maybe he thought he was asking you to go with him or at least meet him there like a date. You could tell him you're looking forward to seeing him there.
