Does my guy friend like me?

In February, I confessed to my crush that i liked him. He basically rejected me by saying he valued our friendship and trying to figure out something things. The other day he calls me on his way home, since he lives like maybe a hour or so away from the main city. He didn’t want to listen to his music so he calls me, we stayed on the phone for two hours. Calls me again yesterday the call lasted about the same. Before ending the call he mentioned he's more likely gonna call me.

The fact that he is on the phone that long makes me think he likes you. I never talk to anyone that long on the phone and if I did I'm 100% into her. He must have changed his mind or something. There is a chance I'm wrong I'm not 100% but like 90% sure.

Please don’t do that. He told you from his own mouth he isn’t interested and gave you the closure someone would need to move on. It is wrong to treat his rejection as some sort of obstacle course. Instead, ask yourself if you can truly be his friend on a platonic level right now, or if you need space to get over your romantic feelings so that you can be a friend again.

Im not treating it like an obstacle, I dont call him or anything i just answer the call when he calls me.

I say treating it like an obstacle because rather than making peace with his stance, you’re still looking at his actions and wondering if it means more. If that weren’t the case then you wouldn’t think anything of long phone calls and things like that anymore.

Maybe but play it slowly and don’t jump to conclusions. He may just trying to be nice since he doesn’t want you to feel like shit after rejecting you.
