So I've been flirting with this guy at work and we kissed often secretly at the office. However, we aren't really dating because he's been giving mixed signals before and even said to simply be friends. We stopped texting often and haven't interacted much (1-2 weeks) until recently when he flirted again and we made out. During or I think after making out, he hugged me and kissed me on the top of my head. We don't text that often still and we interact with each other professionally at work. But, I don't know if that top-of-the-head kiss has any meaning to it, or if am I overthinking it. Can someone help me at least understand because I am so confused.

I think he was just kissing you good bye, and maybe diplomatically telling you not to chase him after that. He sounds like he's seeing someone else.
