The only pickup lines I ever came up with were purposefully cheesy because I never intended to actually use them.
Stuff like : "Are we plug and play compatible?" since I am a computer geek.
Or "I know this pick-up line might be cheesy because i'm dutch, but nice to meet you".
I know both are absolutely awful so I wouldn't actually use them haha. I'd probably just introduce what kind of person I am and ask her if she's interested in getting to know each other more elevator pitch style. Because I want to be up front with who I am, I expect that style to work well in a speed dating setting so once I am ready to actively date in person thats where I plan to go.

I haven't in a while because I'm married, but I find talking to women is easy. It's just a case of being polite, friendly and seeing where the conversation goes after an initial smile and hello. A nice friendly smile goes a long way.

Honestly, I don't want to pick up women and I don't do pick up lines. It's too awkward, I'm not good at saying what I plan to say. It never comes out the way I plan for it in my head to come out.
