Soo my bfs not really a sexual person and we don’t usually flirt w/ each other so yesterday I tried to flirt w/ him bc he sent me a picture while he was @ work and the picture was just something written on a wall next to a pipe (he works in HVAC) so there was writing on the wall next to the pipe and the writing said “sexy pipe” and i responded “lmao sexy pipe” and he replied “lmfaooo” and I responded w/
“I miss your pipe” and his response was “omggg stopp”

I didn’t open the message until this morning bc I passed tf out yesterday/into today , although I did see he messaged me again that same night asking what I was doing on sea of thieves (we started playing that together)

So all seems fine I just found his response to my flirting to be kind of rejecting so yaaaa I don't know am I reading too much jnto it? (I probably am but I feel like I need other opinions) maybe it’s fine cuz he’s not really flirty but I don't know kinda sucks to feel like i can’t flirt w/ him and we’ve been together since 2021

Hmm, that is a weird response from him to your flirting. Like saying "omggg stopp" definitely sounds kinda rejecting, like he was embarrassed or something. That would probably hurt my feelings if I were you too.

But at the same time, like you said he's not super flirty normally so maybe dirty jokes just aren't his love language. And that fact that he messaged you later about Sea of Thieves seems like things are fine between you still.

I wouldn't read too much into it, but you could always have a casual conversation with him about how good communication and flirting is important to you in a relationship. Not in an accusing way, but just so he understands it makes you feel closer when he plays along sometimes.

See what he says - maybe he'll open up more about why he doesn't do it much. And let him know a simple "haha babe" instead of "omggg stopp" next time would be nicer. Set the boundary politely and hopefully he'll meet you halfway. Good luck, girl!
