How am I suppose to handle this?

Am the oldest siblings and we 5 kid and we all live with my mother we left my dad cause he was abusive my mom just start a job and she haven't received her full pay yet anyway the thing is we going through a bad phase right now and we to the point where we been eating bread and biscuits with water for dinner for a whole week keep in mind my younger brother is 9 and am turning 21 next week I work too but I help my mom paying the rent and for my father he doesn't really care about us , like every year my grand ma send money for my birthday what happen is that when I received it 2 days ago the first thing I did was going to buy groceries we didn't even have milk at home or anything I spend half the money I got to buy groceries enough like to not be in needs again and I save up half again today my mom told me how much I spend buying food and I told her don't worry it's not that much and she told me I should stop spending money for nothing and over useless thing and it hurts knowing the only thing I bought for myself as a gift for my birthday was a small perfume

If you meant that she said that about the perfume, I mean you work hard to buy yourself something nice but if you all are struggling with food I suggest you all pitch in with food and making sure everyone's stomach is full and then buy the things you want. Having a decent meal is more important
