Have you ever strung someone along just because you were bored?

I know people who have strung people along when they have zero intention of getting into anything serious with said person simply because they were bored. It’s scary how people can act like they’re in love, saying all these sweet romantic things when they don’t even mean any of it…

I for one don’t have time for those kind of games, if I’m not interested in you then I don’t even want to dedicate my time getting to know you let alone texting you sweet nothings daily.

I don't have time for that and don't think I would make time for that. When I get bored, I do something like play video games, lift weights, play guitar, read books, watch some youtube, knock out some chores, go for a jog, learn a new language, and the list goes on.

I hate to sound sexist, but I think that activity is primarily a female game. We've all seen that chick that gets some simp to orbit her with attention, be her emotional tampon, and she doesn't even play with his dick. I've had chicks try to do that with me, but that's just a quick ticket to get ignored by me... I can always go fuck a slut or a hooker... certain guys don't have that skill, so they get stuck with some bored attention whore listening to her tell him about her dating issues like he's one of the girls. 😂 🤣

Simply put... I don't have much respect for attention whores. As a guy, if you do get with one, she's going to be that girl that cheats... for what reason?

I have always been clear with people who have shown attraction towards me that I was not interested in a relationship (mostly because of my headspace) but I was always clear.
No point in dragging them in somewhere when there is no future destination to arrive.

No, if I am interested in someone, I see it out until they lose interest in me (usually this winds up happening), or we're just not a good fit.

On a sidenote, who the hell strings someone along out of boredom? That's just wrong! I'm not attractive enough to get people that like me on a regular basis, much less due to boredom- must be nice to be that attractive and sought after, LOL

Besides, as someone that's been strung along a lot, I would never do that to anyone. Pretty sure the last guy I attempted to date was stringing me along due to boredom and wanting attention: he made no attempts to commit to me, yet didn't want me pursuing other guys; he just enjoyed the boyfriend perks without the title or commitment.

No. As soon as I know I'm not interested in someone, I let them know politely and turn them down.

I did have one guy think I was stringing him along. I wasn't. Legit just asked how much a barbell weighed and he thought it was an invite to flirt.

He looked crushed when my boyfriend gave me a kiss. I didn't know he thought I was flirting until then, but his body language should've given it away. I thought he was happy to see a girl lifting. No. He was just happy a girl was talking to him, even if it was gym stuff and he was gym staff.
