Is it too forward to send him a friend request while he is right next to me?

I kinda have a crush on a coworker I don't see him very often but sometimes we are stationed right across from each other (we can make eye contact) I found him on social media and want to send him a request would it be too weird to do it while he is so close to me (I kinda WANT to be obvious that I like him) or should I do it while I'm at home?

Go for it. People need to be more open and honest with each other.
Personally I would just say: “I really like you, would you like to go out sometime?”
Everyone I know and people here are always trying to figure out ways to let someone know they like them. Funny thing is God gave us language and a mouth to speak it.

Why not make it a game? Laugh and say you found him and send him the request looking at him!
