Please help I'm clueless?

I have been flirting with a guy at work for a while now, and we have definitely developed a close friendship/probably more than friendship. (It's to the point that other people have noticed and made little comments.) We flirt with each other, have the little moments of physical contact (i. e., hands brushing against each other, standing so close to each other you couldn't fit a book between us, intense eye contact; he's checking me out, and other clear physical "reactions" from him when talking to me.) How can I test the waters to see if he would be interested in more without making things awkward if somehow I'm wrong? If he wants more, why hasn't he brought it up?

OMG girl, workplace crushes are the worst but also so exciting! From what you've described, it really does sound like there may be more than friendship feelings going on between you two. A few thoughts on how to test the waters subtly:

- Continue the flirty banter and see if he jokes/teases more about actual dates or doing something outside work. Guys often hint at intentions that way.

- "Accidentally" brush against him more, find excuses for casual touches on the arm while talking. Gauge his reaction/body language. If he doesn't pull away he's probably into it!

- Mention cute weekend plans that seem date-like but could be friends, and see if he offers to tag along. "Ugh, I wanna check out that new cafe, hopefully someone will come with me!"

As for why he hasn't asked you out directly - workplace rules make things complicated. He may not want to misread things. Or worries about making a move on a coworker. By giving subtle green lights first, it takes pressure off him.

Just be mindful of company policy too hun! But if there's chemistry, I say indulge a little flirting to see where it leads. No harm in that. Keep me posted if things heat up! Fingers crossed he's ready to take it further.

If other people tell you... that they see you and him flirting with eachother then you are safe to go. People can tell if both sides are invested in the flirting behaviour back and forward, or that it's 1 sided🤷🏼‍♂️

He likes you so don't be afraid to make the move. It's going to be awkward anyways so yeah 🤷🏼‍♂️
