Have you ever pretended not to be interested in having a relationship with someone, just to make that person more attracted to you? Have you ever played hard to get, while in fact your intentions were exactly the opposite?

And was the result what you were hoping for or did they just walk away uninterested?

No I’m just hard to get by nature because I’m usually indifferent to guys who are trying to date me. I have severe trust issues so I appear cold and uninterested to guys who are romantically interested in me but I’m super chill and friendly to guy friends lol. For some reason though, it just makes these guys go after me more even after I told them I’m not interested in being more than friends.

I AM hard to get 😂 No need to play games. I am super easy to approach, but If I see a red flag, I won't deal with you anymore or something that is the opposite of what I want.

So my intentions are always clear in my opinion.

No, I haven't. I may come across like I am but I am a shy person. If I'm interested in a guy and he asks me out, I'll say "yes" without hesitation lol If we go out and have a good time, I'll be a pain! Texts, phone calls, asking him if he wants to have dinner at my place...

You raise an interesting question there. Why would it be wrong for a girl to ask a guy out? I know girls expect us to make the first move, but it would take a whole lot of pressure off us if it were the other way round. Or if the 'signs' were clear enough for us to interpret them correctly.

It's not wrong for a girl to do the asking, it's just I'm very shy if I am just getting to know someone but I will give strong signals that I'm interested. For example, the guy I'm with now and I were just having a conversation while waiting to cross the road and he mentioned there's a Starbucks in his office building, so I immediately said, "Oh, really? I love their breakfast, I'll definitely have to come early someday and have breakfast there". The next morning he asked if I wanted to meet him there for coffee and a sandwich the next morning. I didn't exactly "ask" him out but pretty much told him to! Lol FYI: Him and I would pretty much arrive at the same parking lot at the same time every morning and just started having a friendly conversation each day and it grew from there.

I think you gave him a very clear sign that you'd be interested in getting to know him. You didn't exactly ask him out, but you told him - without really saying it - that you'd like him to ask you out. I'm glad it worked out for you.
