Was it a one off drunk flirt/banter or should I shoot my shot?

Think I missed a opportunity

So I was working at this pub, there was this regular who would come in and was pretty close with one of the guys who worked there, when I was working there I did notice he would flirt everynow and then and he did once say ‘i was the best thing to happen to the pub’ though I did take this with a pinch of salt. A couple of people would tell him off for checking me out as well.

However I didn't really chat much or be overly flirty with him but I did fancy him a little but never went for it as i had a crush on the manager at the time 🙈

However i have since left the pub and i haven't really seen him at all properly until NYE when I went to the pub to see some friends who still worked there and he happened to be there, and we all stayed to close. I did notice right away that he was being more overly flirty. when I saw him previous it was very much just we are mutal friends vibes. However he , said we could share a chair, was asking how old I was and he even loudly said he was single. And was a bit more jokey/flirty

I did flirt back a fair bit, but I think I was a bit tipsy to really properly do anything. I think i’m overthinking and it was probably only a drunken thing but I dont think i realised till now that I do fancy him and now likely won't see him again.

I was staying round my friends so left pretty early and when we left he was on his own outside but as my friends we running for a taxi i didn't say bye properly.

Do you think i lost a shot at something even if its just a hookup or should I ask my friend to wing woman me a bit with him

My sister said it was just a practice flirt and to not over think it.
