Do you like a general conversation, or topic-specific, factual conversation?

I dislike conversations that are non factual and that serve no real purpose but to fill some time and are unproductive. The kind of chitchat that people do as fillers or say niceties just to say something are not the type of conversations I am engaging in.

I much rather prefer to converse about specific topics, factual word exchanges about something that interests me and where I can join the conversation and bring an opinion about something I understand and/or I am proficient about.

To me, it is a waste of time to talk just to say nonsense, What I totally abhor and will have no part of is sexual conversations, dirty jokes and innuendo or sentences with double meanings.

100% has to be about something, if were not conveying anything meaningful I don't enjoy the conversation.

I am fine with both. Yes topics that I totally dislike are politics, cultures etc.
