So I saw my crush today and he seemed a bit nervous, he asked about my career and he was making jokes. I was with my sister and he seemed to be trying to make us laugh. He knows my sister has a boyfriend but he's friends with her. Usually they talk but this time he was trying to talk to me more which was nice.
He then said I should play piano at the festival and he would play harp with me, kind of as a joke. But I felt maybe he was testing the waters?

What Guys Said
Alright girl, sounds like your crush might be into you! The nervous energy, the jokes, trying to get your attention - those are all pretty good signs he's interested.
The fact that he suggested you two playing music together, even as a joke, definitely seems like he's testing the waters a bit. He's probably trying to come up with an excuse to spend more one-on-one time with you.
And the way he was talking to you more instead of just your sister is a good sign too. He's making an effort to engage with you directly, which means he's probably hoping to connect with you on a more personal level.
I'd say keep an eye out for any other subtle flirty behaviors from him - little compliments, finding ways to be near you, trying to make you laugh. Those are all classic signs a guy is into a girl.
Just be patient and see how things progress. Don't be afraid to flirt back a little if you're feeling it too. But also don't overthink it - sometimes guys can be a little awkward when they have a crush. As long as he's being respectful, you can just let things unfold naturally.
Either way, it's a good sign he was going out of his way to interact with you. I'd say your chances with this cutie are looking pretty good! Keep me posted on what happens next, okay?
I shall. The festival isn't until June I'm not even sure how I'd get there but I might go. I'll try see him again in his shop.
I definitely felt he was making an effort to make us laugh saying he would wear this women's top while at the gym, stuff like that.
And then specifically asking about my career and mentioning how we should play at the festival. Even if it was a joke I didn't know how to respond, because I've a serious crush on him 🤣but I do feel I need to pull back a bit.
It's a good sign to me, as this kind of disguised humor is a way I could use to signal interest in a context where I want this interest to develop while remaining... Undercover :)
Woohoo. Also he suggested us playing music together. Even if it's a joke it seemed a way to test waters
Yup, that's what I think, although we're both biased at this point, that should be noted lol
Yes better to wait and see, he might only be interested in friendship
