1 yDepends on the guy. Personally I do not mind.
I have many injuries in fields where I've more than proven my manhood, so to speak. As I get older, I'm practically going to need a woman just as strong if not stronger than me as my injuries get worse. Even so, I've only met 3 women genuinely stronger than me, and all 3 were in the military, already athletes as kids and had some form of martial arts training (two of them black belts in whatever arts they did and the 3rd a brown belt in BJJ).
Also, even if she is stronger/more experienced in fighting does NOT mean I cannot protect her. I do not have to be stronger than her. Just simply stronger/more skilled and cunning than whoever would mess with her.
Finally, I WANT her to be strong where I am weak. That's called supplementing each other.

1 yI think @summeroflove if I have the body of a former male gymnast (former male gymnast, who's very weak on the rings now 💍💍 lol 💪🏻💪🏻) and fatigued - lol 😆 - then I'd need a woman who's also like a somewhat light as a feather type of woman.
Now I don't mean that I've got body image issues, I eat with a metabolism as i gratefully to the deities 🌌 enjoy, however - I feel like given my muscle shortcomings, it's easier for me to (with her legs helping for a jump up than dead-weight lift) a woman who 🛗 is about 40 kilos to 50 kilos aka 88 pounds to 110 pounds 💷 weight ; otherwise my body or arms may feel like - snap 💔 quite scarily 🩻💪🏻

1 ystronger physically?
in some cases, I don't think it's even possible...
but why should it make a man insecure? if she trains and is into it and he doesn't, there is no space for insecurity... people have different hobbies, and that's fine
I can run 12 kilometers, and most men can't... does it make them insecure? no one cares :D20 Reply

1 yDoesn't bother me, but I do prefer my partner to look more feminine than me. Doesn't matter if she can lift more or beat me in an arm wrestle (doubtful). I just don't want her looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger or look like I'd die from snu snu.

I understand there is extremes like doing steroids. But some men also want someone whose easy to control because they are insecure. They donโt want someone who can stand up to them or cheat on them when they reality is they if someoneโs going to cheat or otherwise betray someone. Theyโre gonna find a way to do it

I've never wanted to control my partners. I've always said they're free to do what they want, but it's also disrespectful to do certain things in a relationship. There are expectations and unsaid rules in relationships.

Anonymous(30-35)1 yNo, however I just found out I as getting played by my female friend. I thought this whole time she couldnโt lift this wooden chair and always asked me to do it. I walked in and saw her moving it herself one day. Then she saw me and acted like she injured herself trying to lift it. I wondered how many women I dated done this to me. To get me to do something. They played damsel in distress

Anonymous I can smell that a mile away. Thatโs just repulsive to me. If someone genuinely wants my help thatโs fine but to act that way disingenuously dude major RED FLAG
Opinion Owner1 yI think they think it helps our ego to feel needed. It doesnโt for me because I donโt have an ego no more. I could careless. Just ask me to help. Older I get the more I value my time.

I've seen this as a joke on couple videos... but I did think some women actually lie and manipulate lol.
I have had friends tell me "you need to let guys do things for you, thats how you make them happy. Dont open the door for yourself, let them open the bottle for you"
Because guys apparently felt intimidated and I wasn't showing my feminine charm... well, I grabbed life by the balls and got what I wanted out of it. Those girls didn't have the same drive because they let others do their work for them ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I've actually witnessed a girl get her boyfriend to painstakingly remove all the small little ground beef pieces on a pizza for her because she can't eat beef for religious reasons.
I dont eat pork... I've never gotten anyone to do that for me.
It felt awkward witnessing that, he stopped everything and just went to the corner while she continued talking. It felt like a slave situation :/.

Didn't think some women actually lie and manipulate*
Opinion Owner1 y@fartingspinster it doesnโt do anything for me. I offer equal rights. Unless I am told we are not equal in a logical way. But the pizza thing wouldnโt fly with me because why order pizza with items you canโt eat on it? But yea thatโs for mostly young men with egos. Once men get in their 30โs things start to change.
Nah. Mainly because I know that if I wanted to, I could surpass many women in strength easily if I trained for that level of strength & beyond. But there's not a lot of need for that level of insane strength in this society so I'm good with my current strength.

Right? Even a physically weak woman can shoot you. Stab you. Poison you so
Not really, as many women in my "HARD YOGA' class are stronger than I... Green with envy!!!

1 yI'm fairly strong myself. I'd be impressed, not insecure.
