For me as a man with women, can I say that I have changed.

I used to be a real player - Casanova - now I just sort of steer clear of even a woman's sultry gaze 👀 👀 👀 👁️ 👁️

It's because I'm protecting myself and avoiding leading a woman on if I'm not really there - that I'm not really wanting a relationship - somehow I feel like as a single man, I'd feel like a cheater. It's a funny feeling + airy fairy me 🫣😳

I was bitchier as a younger teen, like I would think less of a guy who flirted w me and I would be kind of dismissive. As a late teen, I fell for the wrong guy and turned into like his sex slave, nobody I knew even two years earlier would have believed it in fact some did not believe it. Both were bad situations and I was unhappy most of my teenage years. Early 20s my friends thought I was kind of taking advantage of guys although I did not see it that way. I saw it more like tryouts. But looking back I think it is bc I had not met the right guy. When I did meet the right guy everything went smoothly, he respected me, I respected him, and we are still together. Because I am in a LTR, my flirting now is more just politeness, like if an older guy sees my ring and buys me a drink anyway, I will talk with him and smile while mentioning that I am in a relationship.

There are some guys at work who I know like me, but they also know I am in a relationship, I think they are basically waiting and hoping I break up which I won’t. I am nice to them and sometimes I try to talk them into asking somebody else out, which is partly being nice but mostly trying to get them to move on from me. I’m not the only one who has noticed, an older female project manager told one of them, and I quote “get your mind off Shelly’s behind” which actually offended me a little but was also kind of funny.

I've noticed that older women tend to flirt more physically, with touches, showing more skin (shorter hemlines), and use more direct words, than younger women.

Example:

Teen: Says to guy. "You have nice hands"

Older woman: Says to guy, touching his hand, "I bet your hand loves to feel soft warm flesh."

It hasn't changed, actually. I've always been told I have a direct, girlish communication style linked to a classy sort of edge. If I'm on friendly terms with someone that comes out very naturally and I don't do anything fake to adjust it. I just roll with whatever the topics of convo are, etc.

well... since i’m still 18, i guess i’m in that transition phase. but if there’s one thing I’ve realized, it’s that flirting isn’t just about playful texts or teasing... its real chemistry comes from confidence and meaningful conversations. So... I’d say it’s shifting from just ‘cute’ to more effortless and genuine. 😉

When I was young I would stare a lot lol, then turn my head if they made eye contact with me, as I got older, I would smile when we caught eyes and say "hi" if they were close enough to hear or give a head nod, as a way of saying "hi".

When I was really young I was more direct and obvious, now I never actively flirt but I think the people I am attracted to could see it by the way I look into their eyes and listen to what they say. And people are attracted to me and come towards me, and will like to project i’m into them any way, even when I’m not flirting. I don't know what my answer is but growing up i’ve learned being an attractive intelligent neurodivergent woman is enough on it’s own to pull people
