Younger guys seem to be less interested in pursing girls and wooing the ladies.. how do guys flirt these days or is it all fine on dating apps?

You are not wrong - men as a generalization are less interested in pursuing women today than in years past. It's not that they want relationships less, and they certainly don't want sex any less, but it's because so many women today are completely uninterested in what men want, and only care about what they (the women) want. And a lot of women have insanely high expectations that very, very few men can meet - and the few who can are so in-demand that they can get almost any woman without having to make any kind of commitment to her, so most of those men don't.

Many more average guys - the guys who aren't in corporate C-suites or major business owners or whatever - have left the dating market entirely, choosing to be alone (even though they'd rather be in a GOOD relationship) rather than be with a woman who will never be happy or satisfied with them, because she really wants a top 1% man that she has zero chance of ever getting. Men used to try to be with those women, and lots of them ended up getting divorce-raped as a result. So, yes, this is a real thing that's happening.

Another factor - and I'm just being honest here, it's not any kind of personal attack - is that you're simply going to get a lot less interest from men at 40 than you got in your 20s. That's nothing new - it's been the way of the world since the dawn of civilization. As a woman, your late teens and 20s are when you have the most leverage to set yourself up with the best relationship partner. After 30, you have much less leverage, and that leverage continues to decline as you age. That doesn't mean you can't find a relationship partner, but it does mean that you'll have far fewer options and that most of those options aren't going to be all you hoped for. The kind of men that you may have had access to in your 20s aren't likely to be interested in you in your 40s. That's harsh, but it's reality.

Dating apps certainly haven't helped - they only accelerated this phenomenon. The ONLY people who win on dating apps are the top 5% of men, who are attractive enough to get casual sex from lots and lots of women. They're banging tons of girls, and lots of those girls hope to "convert" that casual sex into a relationship, but that almost never happens.

All of the other guys are virtually invisible on dating apps, and the women mostly just get used by the top 5% guys. There are occasional exceptions, but those are rare, and most people's outcomes will follow the rule, rather than the exception.

Nearly everyone is losing these days, but few people want to make any real change.

I think younger guys.
Have been raised to where if it breaks or doesn't work. They throw it away and they get something else.
Or or it doesn't even have to break. They just go after something else

And older guys If they start flirting with you , that means they're interested And if there's capability there between both would know it and it kind of just goes from there

Younger guys are more selfish When it comes to certain things they make it about themselves And they move on

Older guys Or in it to take you there to the highest peak And then again it's kind of a whole different world Out there nowadays

And this generation is Changing the way the people date because Girls will start acting the same way guy Are , Which I don't blame them.
And I think relationships.
Or drifting apart and just capability for 1 night stands our friendship or friends with benefits We're going to see more of because why should girls put up with it if guys are doing it to the girls? So I think the way dating and relationit's changing pretty fast
