Why do some men take anything as flirting when it’s NOT…. But then when a woman really is flirting with him he thinks she isn’t when she IS?

Because a woman's second nature is deception. Since women lie so frequently a lot of guys just assume she's always lying, ergo always flirting. And for a lot of women (not all obviously) this is true. But just because she's flirting doesn't mean she's interested. Far from it! a lot of these women only want HIM to be interested and only want to see his reaction. All this is one big game to her.

Now don't think I'm giving guys a pass on this. To SOME guys most women are just one big hunt.

Women make the rules men find the loopholes. You have to understand that the vast majority of women NEVER get to know the guys they take an interest. The majority of a woman's relationship with a guy takes place all in HER head. She meets the guy, and she sees something that piques her interest. Sometimes, it's physical, his hair, his eyes, his smile, his stature, his muscles. Sometimes it's something more abstract, his sense of humor, his interaction with others, his passion and drive about something, etc. The point is from this moment the relationship begins IN HER HEAD. She's not even dating him. She barely knows anything about him. But she's already PROJECTING onto him what she likes about him. It's not him. It's who she wants him to be. Later long after they've dated, after he's failed to live up to the picture she's created in her head. She's adamant that he LIED to her. That he tricked her. When the REALITY is the majority of what he was was ALL IN HER HEAD. Now guys do this to. It's called limmerance. Everyone does it to an extent. But since women indulge their feelings far more than men men are much much more susceptible to this.

Why do I bring all this up? Because any guy with knowledge of women and their inclinations KNOW how to play those inclinations if they're so driven to. THIS is why SOME guys flirt with all women. They're essentially testing for weakpoints. Think of it as fishing. At any point you can pull up anchor, reel in lines, and find a new spot to fish. But if you find a great spot you exploit it.

Now don't think because I post this, I approve of this. I'm against ANYONE exploiting anyone, male or female. But I don't feel bad about terrible people getting exploited by the same games and traps they play on others.

Because males and females don’t think alike, and this sort of thing happens a lot of times from both sexes , why it’s best to take advice from the opposite sex , if you are uncertain whether someone is flirting with you or just being friendly with you. Overall most people just assume someone is flirting with them , when really they aren’t , and it’s mainly because they are lonely and in search of a connection. We aren’t mind readers , so the key things to look out for is their body language , I only date girls’ , so her body language is what sometimes helps me determine whether she is into me or not especially if she is shy. A shy girl won’t really make eye contact with you , she will play with her hair , or she will Walk near you pretending to be doing something else , acting all goofy with her friends’ or she looks like she is nervous and impatient. Once you pick up these signs it’s easier to know if a girl likes you or not if she is shy. Otherwise she will make eye contact with you and approach you and start up a conversation with you.

A guy’s ego determines who he thinks is flirting with him or not. He gets flattered by certain types of women paying attention to him and then has “something to write home about.”


For instance, a hot girl pays attention to a guy and he gets a nice ego boost from the interaction even if she’s just saying hi and asking for the salt and pepper shaker on the guy’s table. A plain gal might, by contrast, do him a few favors and give him her time and attention and he won’t think anything of it bc he doesn’t WANT to… it does nothing to flatter his ego.

There are studies that say the way women who are close with eachother communicate is how men who don't respect eachother communicate and the way men communicate as close friends is the opposite of how women communicate.

It's just two polarities of viewing social interaction I guess.
