I'm pretty sure this guy finds me attractive. In the beginning he was friendly to me but now he has become very cold and distant, sometimes bordering rude, to me. He is very polite, confident, popular with girls and not shy to flirt with attractive women he has known for decades. He has a girlfriend and I am not interested in him, I would just like to know why he treats me differently to other women.
I’m thinking… Either he has lost interest because of something that happened. Or he was specifically asked not to flirt with you by his girlfriend. Or, his feelings for you are actually stronger than it is for other girls, so he’s actually trying to stop things from progressing any further and he doesn’t want to play with fire because he values his relationship with his girlfriend.
We’re you being mean to him? Also playing hard to get if you do that will turn most guys off. Honestly he was probably just being nice and you took it to be something different especially since he already has a girlfriend I doubt he was flirting with you. Giving a genuinely nice person the cold shoulder will make them not be so nice to you anymore
If he treats you differently then perhaps he likes you. In a different way than he 'likes' the other girls. perhaps he just likes their appearance, but he likes you as a person?

Why do you think he likes you? He has a girlfriend and flirts with other women but not you. Guess who else he doesn't flirt with, all the other girls he doesn't like.
Oddly, because he likes you, but doesn’t want to get carried away because he can see himself getting in trouble with you… Sometimes it’s easier to flirt with someone you’ll never be with, like Kate Winslet and Eli Wallach in The Holiday.
