Why do I attract guys who already have girlfriends?

So when I was in high school a guy tried really hard for me to cheat with him on his long term girlfriend which I would NEVER , NEVER do anything thing horrible like that so I told him to back off, in the end he broke up with his girlfriend for me and i still refused to go out with him because of that reason and I was labeled a home wrecker for them breaking up and as years have gone on I've always seem to be the other woman for example right now a man who has a long term girlfriend who I thought was my friend has been trying to flirt with me and touch me and basically told me he's in love with me but i always do the same and tell them to back off. I'm not the sluty or flirty type either I'm actually really shy and inexpensive around men so I don't understand. because of this I've actually never been in a real relationship with anyone because I only attracted men in relationships and I don't know how to get a good, honest guy who isn't in a relationship.

Well, some guys just want the thrill of cheating. Of doing something they know is wrong, or they just don't care anymore and they are bored with their sex life. Perhaps you're attracted to men in relationships because they have shown that they can commit to a woman, obviously they changed their mind for you. Lol. It's hard to say, but most men that are good-hearted are taken usually. Ladies don't let a good man go on single for too long. In my opinion. You should always befriend a guy before moving any further, see what their character is, because that determines a lot about how somebody will act in a relationship.

It may have to do with how comfortable you make people around you. For a lot of guys I think, when a girl is easy to be around early on or in general, they might seem like "girlfriend material". It might also be that you seem to expect it now so you see it more often than other girls might!

A girl is to a boy, what a toy is to a baby. A boy will always want the new girl, but want to keep the girl they already have. It's in our nature.

If a boy can resist the new girl, it means he is getting everything he needs/wants from the girl he already has.

I would love to say to hang in there and you will meet someone to your liking. But I have found that being proactive is the only way to attract that which you want. I dont believe you are shy. Maybe just scared. And rightfully so. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Well there's no real signal you are giving off its just some guys are assholes try doing a group thing find things you like to do and do them if you live your life the person you are meant to find will meet you when they catch up.

Sorry to hear that you've experienced this, epecially since you want a genuine relationship. It just means you're not only attractive but that there are a lot of cheaters around. Those types of guys are often especially intrigued by shy women.

I faced this situation a year ago. It might be that the guys who u attract are on the verge of breaking up with their girlfriends or are unhappy with them due to some reason and they start sharing their problems with you and get emotionally attached. And if u offer support in the form of just listening to him as a good friend can make them attracted, instead I would say attached however in my situation we eventually got committed.
