To me its like asking why do you wear your hair like that? Haha its little subtle things she's doing but I dont ask because I dont want to put it in the spot like that and make her feel uncomfortable in any way

I wouldn’t make the same comparison, mainly because commenting on someone’s reoccurring hairstyle has nothing to do directly with you. What’s happening with your ex involves intimately close contact. Paired with the fact that you share a history together, it could mean any number of things and only she’d be able to tell you. That’s why I ask why you don’t have this conversation with her, because there could be underlying reasons that obviously we couldn’t tell you. Asking why a woman wears the same hairstyle everyday is very generic, any of us women could tell us why we individually repeat a hairstyle, outfit, etc. But asking why your ex choosing to press especially close into you would be for her to explain.

Why are you at her house?

She is currently going through a divorce her ex husband is horrible but... I have been helping with just about everything to help make her life a little easier for the busy mom we do have kids together 1 out of 3 and have been supporting with anything I can if that makes sense? from helping clean looking after the kids etc. So she calls me over often to help with things she needs help with

The comparison i was basically meaning if its something she's comfortable doing I won't say anything I dont mind at all... but just seeing what it is meaning but I understand your logic as well

Recently I went over to help put something together for the kids and I had to go pee real quick before I got started I came out and she was standing at the door and she said really had to go huh? Then smiled next thing you know she is in her booty shorts so things i feel are subtle but I feel there is a reason behind it I can't seem to wrap my head around haha

Given all the additional context there’s a lot of history between you guys, meaning there’s even more reason to talk to her because who knows what she’s feeling. She’s going through a divorce, you’ve got kids together, her behavior could mean anything: seeking attention/comfort, missing you, being lonely, like the list goes on and on lol.

Before she was really on guard didn't want much contact at all which I respected and told her I understand and did just that and now its developed into a lot of things physically or what I feel are subtle things that I dont understand happening

Like last night she said she was stressed and I knew what she wanted... was to relax and have time to herself which I told her I respect that and will do that because I know its what she needed she said " so tell me what you want " ha

She will also openly tell me about her plans to hang out with some friends that are dudes to which I tell her thats really cool you need to still be social in all this the divorce and all but stops hanging out with them so often into just female friends bragging she smiled when she saw that I wasn't phased by it but happy for her and thats when a lot of this started
