I've asked guys out a lot before ^^ have any of you guys been asked out by a girl and have any of you girls ever asked a guy out? and how often? ^^

Also if you feel like answering, how did the date go ^^? Where was the date to and how was that decided ^^? Who paid for what and how was that decided? Did it turn into a relationship and how long did it last (if it isn't still going) and how healthy is it? ^^ I'm curious ^_^

I had never asked a guy out, well just for a friendly date kind of thing! We went on a few such as our school track meets, he comes to all my swim meets, and just a drive around the communties! It went wonderful some we held hands and he go beyond the touch barrier sometimes flirt a bit! We decide usually by 50/50 since we care about others opinions! Mainly, I pay but he always shares for what he gets then pays me back! The relationship is still best friends, but it is the best one I had and I do feel that someday we will be more! It is a healthy situation! I would LOVE to ask him out, although I am nervous, too, and I don't want to risk losing this friendship plus he might have a girlfriend! Even though, we flirt constantly, smile all the time at each other, blush a lot too, and our eyes start to sparkle a lot more around each other as if we were meant to be more! Both of our siblings, believe that we will get married someday and our parents like us! For example, his mom always talks about how cute I am! Since you said you have asked guys out a lot before, what can I do?

yeah, kind of. So my best friend and a guy friend of hers and I were going to go see a movie. I didn't know until the day of that they were becoming a couple, so I looked for someone to go with me to relieve any "third wheel" tension. I asked the guy I thought was really cute, but asked him as a friend even though it was in the form of a double date. We went to the movie (each paid for our own) and then the four of us walked around Toys'R'Us and played with toys XD It was so much fun and it eventually turned into a relationship (after a lot of crap was cleared up with his ex and we actually allowed ourselves to like each other completely) when I asked him if he was interested in trying one. We're still together after our initial movie date in the spring of 2010 and are doing fantastically (very healthy, totally honest, and we took it slowly, becoming good friends first) :)

I've asked out every guy I've gone out with except one. I haven't been rejected so far. I don't fear rejection--even if they said no, so what? That's the worse that can happen.

I've been rejected in nasty ways before but... if you like someone its just something you have to risk... if I had a crush on a guy I wouldn't expect him to do the work, that would just be lazy

That's really of sh*tty of them to be mean about it! Jeez, all you have to say is "no thank you, but I'm flattered you asked." If someone rejected me like that I'd be glad they said no. So sorry you experienced that :/ But you're right...if you really like someone enough, they're worth the risk.

yeah, a few girls before, but some were attractive and cool, while others were not. I don't get much people flirting with me or I rarely notice or pay attention. (I think its the first one.) I dated one girl who asked me out numerous times in the past but I never liked her like that to begin with. So a 4 years later, she asks me out again so I decided to give her a shot, it seemed okay for awhile. BUT the relationship only lasted 2 weeks because I found out she was flirting with my best friend.

on a side note, I don't really go on dates that much unless its my girlfriend of a month at least, judge me if you want but its a recession and sh*t isn't cheap =O

doesn't matter who asked who out, it depends on the person, I would suggest to pay half half to be fair but it doesn't really matter.

Well yeah going half is best but some people just don't accept that - so until there comes a day when everyone agrees to go half, then the one who asks should be the one who's "expected" to pay

i haven't had girls directly ask me out on a date, but have had at least 3(I think), hinted about hanging out with me. And by hint, it's, "Hey, are you doing anything on Friday/Sat?" or "What are you doing today?"

I have yet to have a girl actually make a plan and be straight forward on hanging out with her. >_>

It's time for me to control my romantic destiny. All of the girls I have been involved with have initiated. I am very gun shy when it comes to pulling the trigger with women. But it's time to put that behind me! There have been plenty of great women who showed a lot of interest but waited on me to go the extra step (which I would not), that I let slip by. Well from what I know girls can be shy too. But I usually don't initiate with these kinds of things. I usually run the fear of her dating someone already or her partner wasn't with her at the moment it's hard to tell.

So nope, I got hit once by a girl in high school. that was about it we were in completely different classes and we hung out in different crowds lol.
