Happened to me like 5 times. they start chatting normally, then out of nowhere hit you with the "are you into guys or girls?" question, or straight-up try to give you their home address. as soon as i say im straight, they just kill the convo and dip immediately.
One time it got wild though: some random girl DMed me while a guy was hitting on me, literally warning me like "yo that guy is flirting with you." and she was hot, so we started talking. ended up pulling a girl out of it somehow lmao.
Happened a few times, it's highly irritating. The "gaydar" seems to be a myth, with them.
When you mean normal men, you mean the ones conforming with the norms of which culture? Because, depending on the culture of reference, I might be a normal man or an abnormal one

Actually it has happened to me. In a nice way I said, I appreciate the attention but I'm straight. It was no big deal really.
Gay men have what you call a Gaydar, they tend to know their own, even if that person is in the closet.
They looked insanely uncomfortable the two times I’ve witnessed it
It happened and I politely told him I wasn’t interested in them that way, only as a friend. We remained friends.
