Ways to spice up a coffee date?

I asked this girl out for some coffee and she said yes, which is great but then I realized sh*t it is a coffee date and I don't have a ton of ways to make it awesome/memorable. Maybe look for a really bohemian coffee place. Dunno. I hate the idea of just going and sitting down at Starbucks and getting to know each other in such a boring atmosphere. Need ideas, how would you make a coffee date funner ;)

Hmm... Maybe bring a deck of cards, or some sort of game to lighten the mood/create conversation? Umm... Get take-out cups and go for a walk through a nice park, or something? Instead of coffee, go for bubble tea? Haha... I don't know! But I'm sure that you'll think of something, and have tonnes of fun, regardless! Hope this helped a bit... Good luck!

Like this idea. I was thinking exactly this, I know a coffee shop close to an awesome park and just checked the weather and it says partly cloudy. Could be fun.

first off if I said yes to a coffee date(its because I like the guy)and for me just me..to make it awesome/memorable your words... for me...just be you..make me feel comfy with u..fun conversation..make me giggle /laugh..be honest..JUST BE YOU::))

I am me, but me is someone that doesn't enjoy just sitting in a coffee shop. I have done it before and I had great conversations but it usually ends up being too linear. Not exciting and eventually it just results in an average date and never an amazing one.

A more interesting cafe might be marginally better, but ultimately, whether or not this is a good date depends on the chemistry between you two, not how funky the coffee shop is.

true. chemistry is always important but I feel ambience and situation can completely change ones inner feelings, bring out more openness and warmth which ultimately translates to a better connection.
