Why is my guy friend blowing hot and cold with me?

I've become good friends with this guy I work with lately. We hang out all the time, talk all the time, and seem to have a good time from what I thought. He's been borderline flirty with me a few times, OK when I first met him he was REALLY trying to flirt with me. He has a girlfriend but it's long distance. I've never flirted with him or made any advances because of her, even though I want to. Now, within the past 48 hours, something has happened that he is barely giving me the time of day but being perfectly normal around all of our other friends. I've done nothing, so why I am getting the cold shoulder?

Not a lot of information to go on. A shot in the dark might be that he has increased his resolve in staying faithful to his long distance GF. Perhaps they talked and have more solid plans between themselves for the future?

I guess I could add to what our friendship's been like. We hang out at work, outside of work (he initiates a lot of it), go out for meals, he's invited me over to his place for meals a few times, we make plans to go explore the city...all of it platonic (at least on my end). Last weekend he went out for a friend's birthday and got blistering drunk and at 1:30am there were several "Where are you" messages on my Skype and an attempted call from him...

I presume you asked him why he skype-called? He had to have an answer, even if it is was like, "Uhh, I was bored." Also, did he know you were drunk? That usually means nothing to some people, but I do have a close friend who suffered a lot of alcohol abuse from his parents as a child and to this day he glowers at drunk people. Might want to keep that part quiet, "just in case" :)
