All of my friends figured out how to talk to guys and flirt at a way younger age, and I was never interested, until now. What do I do?

I'm sorry I'm not good with flirting either but I can tell you what I usually do. I try to find someone I know and comfortable around who knows the my crush. Then if I'm talking to my friend my crush somehow gets involved in the conversation which means a friendship develops and I feel more comfortable around him. Then things just happen.
