How do you feel when your crush compliments another guy/girl in front of you?

I tend to feel like I'm less adequate for him. I immediately compare myself and feel down. I know its kinda silly, but it happens.

Really don't think about it. Unless they're doing it in an obvious power game kinda way - used to have it for a real femme fatale, everyone liked her and she'd lay it on thick to someone else just to make you jealous, and then come to you later and talk about over-construed terrible things they said to her and say things like "Thanks so much, I should have listened to you all long"; knew she'd be saying the same thing about me the next day - then I really think little of it. I might agree, hell. They might be worthy of compliments.

I would definitely feel crushed if any guy I was into complimented another female in front of me. I would think that he probably likes her more than me.
