Well it depends f he is the shy kind of boy, or the one who nerver stops changing girls or just the normal sweet boy.

If he is the shy kind of boy, he maybey wouldn't of said anything, but maybey he was pressured.

If he is the player, he says that to everygirl because he knows it works.

If he the normal swwet boy, he is trying ti kind of confess that he likes you a lot, or he has sentiments for you.

It sounds like there is a good chance in it being an expression of attraction. It is important to note, though, that saying things of that nature is sometimes simply the character and habit of the person. If you're interested, you should approach him-- or at least test the waters a bit, if you're experiencing nerves.

Good question... I believe it is a form of attraction. :-) I was seeing this guy and never once called me pretty, it hurt, but I mean I can't knock him. Guess he wasn't physically attracted to me.

Calling you pretty in and of itself isn't attraction.

You making yourself look good enough in the first place to inspire him to call you pretty is where the actual attraction happened.

If a guy calls you pretty then he is attracted to you.

You'd like to believe it's attraction. That's for sure. Belief shapes reality.

I'm not sure whether it's attraction. I sometimes give certain compliments to girl I'm not attracted to. I think it depends on the type of compliment. Maybe that could tell us more.
