Okay well I've been in college for around a month now (freshman) and there's an RA who lives on my floor (he's a sophomore) and his job is to basically build a community among the kids on my floor and organize events and stuff and just serve as a role model/advisor (they're called something different at my school, not RAs but I figured that term fits it most appropriately). Anyways he's very friendly with everyone on the floor, everyone loves him and he always eats with us and comes around and talks to us and whatnot.
My friend thinks he likes me because she claims he always flirts with me. He does joke around with me and tease me a lot, and also shows off (he's very physically fit, smart, involved, etc) and brags. One night I was doing homework alone in the hallway at around midnight and he walked by and sat down with me for an hour and we talked about random things. The other night I was sitting in the hall in the middle of the night again and he came and sat with me and did his homework for another hour with me. One day I heard him playing music in his room so I knocked and he sang a song on guitar for me (Wonderwall).
I definitely have a huge crush on him, but he's WAY out of my league. I'm very self conscious and kind of bad with guys so I can never tell when they're interested in me. Also it's his job to be friendly with us so I can't tell the difference between whether or not he's doing his job or we're actually friends or something. Also 'm pretty sure it's against the rules for them to date us so I don't know.
What do I do?
