I think my friend likes my crush...What do I do?

So lately my not so close of a friend has been flirting with my crush, giving him nicknames, always picking and joking around, etc. I used to think he was starting to like me back but now that she has came into the picture, I'm not so sure anymore. It seems like if her constant flirting continues he will start liking her back. My friend and I aren't close at all and barely talk. Any advice?

If she considers you a true friend she wouldn't be doing this. And it seems to me that she doesn't like him for him. She likes him because you like him. She wants to have what you want...primarily, it seems, to p*ss you off and show you how better she is than you! I know that If I don't really like someone it is easier to flirt and joke around...but if I really like the person I'm speaking with, I am very clumsy and cute...not flirty at all!

I have a so called 'friend' that's just like yours...but none of the boys who I liked liked her back, because I guess I was the choice they made, and they where clever enough to stick to me.

He (this guy you speak of) isn't that bright either...I'd just give up on both of them. Sometimes it's better to just move on...they don't even sound like very exciting people... Haha

I know that's what I'd do if that happened to me...BUT if you really and truly like him then I'd really try to let him know I like him - do not prolong it! It will only make things worse, and then he just might end up with her, because she had more guts to do something about the situation!

DO SOMETHING or move on...even if you are shy...like me...

you guys are friends, he's not YOUR boyfriend, he's a crush. you can't help who you like. you shouldn't get angry or pissed off. if he doesn't like you back and likes her instead you can't change that, so I suggest just aski her straight up. then you gus can gossip about him together.

true.. I would follow your advice but sometimes she acts like she purposely flirts with him to make me mad...shes actually more of a frenemy... :( but I like your advice

ooo I see. I had one of those, would tell you one thing then do another, in that case you should take her down before ahe ruins it for the both of you. she'll push to get him which will then just push him away, from her AND you.

get him first or tell her to back off that you like him but sometimes some people get that 1 weird friend that will go after the person harder when you tell them you like them so you could just do the 1st option

shyness is no good so if you wanna take your time or whatever tell her things that aren't obvious to make her disinterested in him.
