If a guy lets you rest your head on his shoulder does he like you?

Just wondering , I sat with this guy I like on the coach for the whole time and we would sit close and we are comfortable with each other even though we're both shy. We already rest our arm or leg against each other in class. On the way back I was tired and halfway through put my head on his shoulder for a minute or two then again a while later put my head on his shoulder and asked if he didn't mind me doing it and he said it's alright and I told him to tell me if he wanted me to stop and he didn't and let me rest my head on his arm/shoulder he was resting against the window. He didn't have his arm around me but we're not together yet or he may have been shy.

And after I got a taxi back on my own later he texted me twice to ask if I was home with a 20min gap I didn't reply when he asked if I got home as I went straight to sleep. I just replied in the morning.

And he's a shy guy so he'd normally like his personal space and we spend all lunch times together with the same group but we do go off alone together a lot and he comes wherever ask him.

He didn't seem to mind me putting my head on his shoulder.

I had a girl I like fall asleep with her head on my shoulder, she came over to me and sat next to me and asked if she go rest on me, I thought it was so cute! It did start to get uncomfortable for me since she fell asleep on me but I didn't say anything, it was too adorable. I liked it, regardless, thought it was very cute and it made me like her more. If it was a girl I wasn't interested in, I would of let her rest on me, but not tolerate it as long, more then likely though he is interested from the sound of your story.

Try it out in the cinema where it is more private but make sure to do it at the correct time not when the movie reached it's climax point. If he puts his head on yours or try to initiate more touching then it means he likes you back. But if he doesn't it doesn't mean he doesn't like you he might just not be sure whether you'll like it or not. If his head is very far away from your head that means he doesn't like it or he just thinks you as a friend and you should stop

What if he lets me rest my head on his head, plus he rests his head on my head, then what does that tell ya all? after I stopped, and I was falling in sleep as my head on the air, he put my head on his shoulder and he put his arm around me. So what does that mean? is it just friendly Actions or does he kinda like me?

I let girls do this, but to be honest with you I hate it. It's generally girls you don't like that do it, and you really just want to say ''get off'' but you can't so you let them stay.

But that's just me personally, I think he might be interested if he sent you a text later on asking if you got home safely

Oh yea true maybe that's why he didn't put his arm over me when I had my head rested on his shoulder. We do sit with are arm or leg touching in class and sit close/stand close to each other . ` I started it and now he does it too. I'm shy too had to decide to actually put my head on his shoulder was wondering if I should for ages. I did it occasionally but never stayed long and I think he'd move slightly to be comfortable I prob thought he didn't want me to but when I asked he didn't mind.

It's the first time I've put my head on his shoulder and it's kinda private when you're sitting beside someone on a coach. Not sure if I'd put my head on his shoulder again not sure whens the best time.I'd be shy kiss him out of the blue that's why I was hoping we would yesterday. He was on his phone a bit or looking out the when I was beside him or had my head on his shoulder. He has his arm resting on the window. If he texted me twice to make sure I was home most would've assumed you were asleep.

I wouldn't hold hands unless we were dating we do walk close to each other like we've stood close that his hands are in his pockets and mine near and are hands against each other. I might just keep trying to be close to him.Not sure if he likes it or not. He probably knows I fancy him. I'll see how he acts the next time we see each other. He didn't go off alone with me too much yesterday think because he didn't want to lose everyone though .

I think he'd be too shy to ask we're both shy but I'm slightly less shyer than him as I do talk to a few people if we're standing around whilst he'd just stay silent. I'm not sure does that mean I'd need to initiate. I could maybe casually ask if he'd come to something with me. I always say that to him to get him to go somewhere with me and he always does but it's usually around the university area.

Yes there is nothing wrong with you asking him...but you will need to make clear that it is a DATE...if you do not do that...well you will end up as friends or one of you will be friend zoned or that is how some end up as fwb.

I was thinking to make it sound casual then tell him I like him then rather than asking him on a date. Or could I just ask what he's doing for the weekend and then say we should go out sometime and see what he says. I hate telling people I like them I never know what to say or how to say it and I'd be nervous they wouldn't like me back or say we're only friends.

Yeah..actually telling someone that you like them almost requires a response and can be threatening or intimidating...asking him if you could go out sometime is a good idea..it suggests the idea of advancing your relationship without forcing the issue or trapping him...I like it!

Yeah and I guess he'd wonder if I liked him then. I could always bring it up then. I'm not sure when to ask him out though he's kinda had personal bad news in his family and he said he's being having a bad year. Not sure whether to wait a while it hasn't happened yet it will soon.

I told one of the girls on my course I liked him and she said I shouldn't fancy him that I'd ruin it and he's the guy that's your friend that you can tell anything to that it mess things up :S . Another girl t asked if I liked him not sure if it looks like that. I'll see how me and him are on Monday if he's still acting as close as usual. He must know I like him.

When people asked us to kiss when we were outside in this pub the the girl had a picture we both looked away shyly I just said not on camera. Then on the coach others were saying we should kiss and we looked away shyly again I saw him going red and smiling turning away. Would he have said no or we're friends if he didn't want to?

I think he only went red the second time not sure if he really does but maybe wanted it to be private. And they were saying we were really quiet.

We don't really speak outside college just mainly in person although on Wednesday night we spoke for 2 hours about the trip and he wasn't sure what to wear either. Does it matter if we don't talk much outside college?

Nope we live ay home most live at home. He did initiate it on Wednesday but because his phone when dead and couldn't reply to the text. I always wonder if I'd be bothering the person. We still get on good online I just don't always know what to say and don't want to seem annoying and when he said that someone who used to like him used to always message him I don't want to be like that. Maybe we're both just shy to initiate it.

I might text him sometime later maybe see how he is with his bad news situation or whatever just to see that he's okay even though he seems fine. He let me take a picture of us together on my phone and we were close in it and he actually smiled usually guys don't smile. And when the people on the coach were taking a picture he'd day he didn't like them then when I got in with him he let them take it. I was gonna send him the pic but he didn't have his memory card didn't want to lose pics he had.

No sure what else to say or what would I say in the message or ask him how his head was after the day we went out if he was hungover or something. I never know how to continue conversations. He usually takes his time to reply sometimes .

Yes but that was my point..words can be confrontational...they HAVE to be said sooner or later...but actions always speak louder than words anyway...maybe harder to see for younger people? I'd ask him in person rather than over text , I might try and get him to go to the cinema. He said he doesn't go that much as he gets bored easily or can't hold his attention for long not sure what else we'd do.

I'm not sure where I'd ask him to go? what kind of thing could I ask him to do? An usually after he sees someone he knows or speaks to them he tells me who they are and how he knows them. Why did he mention when he saw another girl or that the girls friend used to like him and always text or fb him which he found annoying and he didn't like her. does it mean I shouldn't text him often? even though I don't.

I can't help it , I don't think I'll text him this weekend I'll just wait until I see him. I probably shouldn't analyse him not really wanting o dance with me lol as he was just awkward and hates dancing . I haven't seen that movie. I'm just not used to introverted guys as much but I prefer them the extroverted once usually play mind games.

When the moment feels right I think it was right of me to wait I don't think he would've wanted to in front of everyone I wouldn't that much either . I hope he didn't mind my head on his shoulder not sure if I should say thanks on Monday in a flirty way not sure how I'd say it.

Well you would not seriously want to say "thanks" as it was probably something he enjoyed...but flirting is never wrong...and is a good idea...isn't that actually a way to gauge how another person feels about you?

I'm usually more of a subtle flirt . We haven't hugged before although we do sit close and stand close. I did touch his hair a little like I'd ask if I could touch it and when someone poured a bit of sugar in his hair I'd fix his hair for him and tell him he looked fine to get rid of the stuff. Not sure if that was flirting.

Well definitely time for more touchy-feely and flirting...c'mon..if you flirt and touch enough then the next step is that much easier?

It's usually me doing the touching I'm not really a touchy feely person. I might try a hug like when we're saying goodbye, I hate initiating hugs.

It's more likely to be me making the move he seems shyer than me but we're comfortable with each other . I do talk out if I'm in a group with people and then people I'm close to talk to a lot. He's still quiet with both. I would've given him a hug on Thursday before the taxi but it was raining. I think I'm the one who got us talking he used to go off by himself and we'd worked in pairs first day then I started hanging with him.
