My boyfriend is ignoring me. Should I say text him or wait for him to contact me?

We usually speak every day. I've noticed that lately I always contact him first so yesterday I thought I'd wait for him to call or text first for a change. He didn't contact me at all.

At like 11pm I sent a text asking why he only contacts me when I contact him and he hasn't replied. Should I ask if something is wrong or just leave it?

Any idea why he would randomly ignore me?

I can only speak from experience. Something is going on. And unless his phone all of a sudden lost the ability to make outgoing text or calls, then there is no excuse for him not letting you know what the issue is.

When you would text him first, did he seem different? Short? Moody? Distant? If yes, then my guess is he is losing interest and needs time apart, but too cowardly to say so.

As far as the last text you sent him. Guys don't like that kind of stuff. You did nothing wrong in my eyes. I use to get pissed/frustrated and did that stuff too. But guys see that as psychotic and won't respond to this behavior. To him that text came out of nowhere. Its the equivalent of seeing him on the street and just walking up to him and slapping him. A better text would have just been a simple "you busy? Id like like to talk about something."

Leave him alone. let him come to you. If he doesn't contact you in 2 more days. Its over. He better be in the hospital or something because there is really a very very short list of acceptable reasons as to why a guy chooses to ignore his girlfriend. Seriously its not that hard to say "I need time alone". You did your part, let him do his.

Honestly I just had a fight with my boyfriend and he ignored me for a whole day.

i'd wait till you see him like I did and bring it up in person. Never in text or email I promise you it's retarded to argue through text or email. anyways wen your in person just ask him why if you don't message him he won't messageu it might be because you always do it he's grown used to it but I'd still ask because he also could be taking you for granted and or being immature and playing games like "she's always on my jock" kind of thing which is stupid.

anyways when you ask him just try to be really calm. no matter what he says try to reason in a way you can express yourself. just b like "it'd be nice if you reached out to me to let me know your thinking about me" I swear this is all stuff I've gone through with my boyfriend in my bf's case he was just too shy didn't want to bother me :) just promise to be calm and remain on topic with him and not get too emotional or angry with him but don't worry too much if you do he's not worth it :D

I am not sure what happen b/w you and your BF, as the info is not enough!

And if it's the matter of a single day, then you shouldn't worry much!

But if he is ignoring you from long time, Girl! you need to be worried!

I suggest you to ask him out about what is happening in his life and what is the reason behind his changed behavior! If he is understanding, he will speak up and everything will be fine! sometimes guys need help in some situations but they can't speak up!

If this didn't work spy him for someday! (I would never suggest you this, and I might not but I have to)

Depends on how you're phrasing it. If you phrased it as "Why do you only text me after I text you?" or something like that... first thing that would pop into my head is, "Oh, boy, here we go. Does she want to fight or something?" which might explain the lack of response - that would be avoidant behavior. On the other hand, if it wasn't aggressively phrased, he might be busy or asleep, or he might not know exactly how to respond. I'd just leave it and actually talk to him instead of texting. Honestly, text is a god awful form of communication. Better off without it.

If at first you two started dating and he's was in the norm of texting you, or calling you back first. That's the way it always starts out because our job as guys is to always make the first move and that includes the first text message or phone call! Now, if over time the guy is still usually making first contact of the day one way or the other than there's a problem if one day that just stops as normal! The reason why I say that is, well I'm a guy. I know when I dated around your ages 25-30ish I was always so excited to get a hold of my girlfriend. Again, only if the norm has suddenly changed, I think that there most certainly is another girl perhaps, etc... I don't know, but I do know that things don't just change suddenly over night to complete opposite of what your used to!!! In closing, you said that you texted him and he didn't return the text, again. If he's usually prompt on returning your text messages, then all the sudden the norm changes? Not good.
