OK so he is a really sweet guy and I love him with all my heart but he isn't the cutest... or even close and I just don't know what to do with him to make him better... like its hard bringing him around my friends because there all like EHWWW HE IS UGLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM and I didn't think that looks mattered but it would be nice to have a ok looking boyfriend.

well I think he is cute and sweet and looks shouldn't matter its just hard when people are always bugging me about it but like he has a amazing 8 pack and a great body and he dresses well but I think its his hair maybe something about that

well iv told them to stop it but they voice there opinion whether I like it or not and my boyfriend tells me to not let it bug me because it won't matter what they say as long as we stick together so I think we will just deal with it

I have dated women (of a certain other race) who some people around me didn't really approve of but they knew better than to talk sh*t to me about her (whether she was around or not) because 1st offense = stern warning, 2nd offense = getting cursed out in your face.

Your boyfriend is too nice because if my girlfriend not only paraded me in front of her friends so that they could make fun of me while not sticking up for me AND THEN told me that I was the one that needed to fix my mugg to make them feel better, then I'd be gone.

Maybe it is time for a make over. Get your friends together and ask them what you can all do to help him "fit in" better with the group. And then launch your plan. If they buy into the makeover, they will feel some ownership in his new look and will be more likely to accept him. Hopefully they will begin to see what you see in him and stop making fun of him. If they don't, then find new friends. They are way too shallow for a smart girl like you.

You and your friends sound pretty superficial. If YOU like him that's all that matters. And put your friends in their place when they say mean sh*t like that. You shouldn't change for other people's approval nor should he have to take it. I would cuss those stupid bitches out, I'm sure your friends aren't perfect. that's awfully mean! it's your friends that have an issue, not your boyfriend. tell them that they're being catty bitches (in a nicer tone than that though!) and to shut their faces. and if they can't keep their shallow opinions to themselves, tell them to get out.
