Asked her out on Facebook but no reply

I asked out the same girl I had mentioned about on Facebook. I asked her out on Facebook because there was no other way I could ask her out in person. There was one way to ask her out at the shop. But in front of other employees and customers it did not seem appropriate to me. So Facebook was the way left. Today morning when I went to the place where she works it was like she hates me or something. Avoiding me totally. Did not want to see my face. what's wrong..?

I definitely agree that you should of asked her out in person, not through Facebook. I'm sure when you asked her out through Facebook, she did read the message. I think the girl is classless because she didn't reply back. I'm sure you could accept the fact if she said no, you can say tell yourself you tried and move on. She should be thankful that someone asked her out. I'll probably be hated on for saying this and I don't care, but when someone takes the time to send you a message and there's no reply back, that's classless and immature, that girl couldn't even meet you halfway to reply back. Most people who don't reply back because they don't want to hurt the person's feeling by rejecting them is a cop out. If the role was reversed, how would that person like it. That's the cold hard truth. Move on and find someone better.

FAcebook is so public..maybe this embarrassed her, maybe she is already flirting with someone else who will now read your invitation on fb and be mad at her..

maybe she thought it would have been more appropiate to slip her a note at work rather than on fb where everyone will read it..!

Or,maybe she just hates you for saying something mean about her gay friend...who knows!

I messaged her. It was not a comment. So only she can see. And I did not say anything about any guy. I used to message her before but hardly used to get a reply. Dnt know why..

This has happened to me. I had someone email and add me on Facebook a co worker was trying to set me up with. I never had any interest in it so I ignored the email and friend request. Sorry it was not the answer you wanted to hear.

Maybe she was feeling awkward/shy around you and you took it as hating you? I don't see why a girl would just start hating you once you asked her out :/ That's really odd.

I think the fact that she didn't reply means that she's just not that into you.

Move on. She's not interested. Next time, don't be afraid to ask her out in front of her coworkers and customers. A confident guy doesn't care about such things, and women really dig the confident guys. Asking a woman out on FB probably came across as kind of weak (and possibly a little creepy), but most likely she just wasn't interested in the first place.

For now, yes, but give it a little time and things should settle back down. Even a completely uninterested woman should feel flattered when a guy asks her out. :-)

Perhaps you should have asked for her for her number first and from there, asked her out for a date. In my opinion, asking a girl out on Face book is the easy option because it doesn't require courage, unless there is unequivocally no other way to do so. Nonetheless, this girl is either offended that you didn't use a conventional, more personal method to ask her out, or she's just not interested.

If you sent he a message, you can look at it and right at the bottom it will say the time she saw it if she did. I know how you feel though. I like to keep things personal with girls I like and don't like it when others hear us talking. I would have asked her out in person. Like for example catch her when she's leaving for lunch or something but it's too late now if she saw your message

It seems that she's not that into you as you think she is.

You simply have to move on.

Find a better girl, and ask her out in person.
