It wasn't an easy choice. Voted for the Quiet Girl but I'm not 100% sure on that one. First of all I don't believe I absolutely know what's good for me - maybe the girl I really need is the exact opposite from what I picture her to be?
By the way don't make the poll results affect you if that's what you intended in the first place! Just how you always keep telling us (guys) to be ourselves we also don't like girls who are faking. It won't do any good not to your partner and especially not for you.
Only ever approached one girl, and she was the quiet type. I'm extremely shy myself so that feat took me 2 months just to do. The louder, more revealing girls intimidate me a lot. I can barely look at them even if they'll never see me do it. Granted they are a little more attractive in that sense, but the shyer ones are the cuter ones :)

In regards to your update you say guys don't give you the time to open up and be preppy? Well fix that. Be preppy and confident from the start so guys don't need to give you time.

I love peppy girls. Just the sound of a peppy voice lifts my spirits even when I feel sad. I honestly think my life would be perfect if I had a peppy girlfriend. I'm going to ask what kind of boys peppy girls like. Maybe I need to change something. =) wish me luck.

Finding a girl who is actually cheerful by disposition is a HUGE win. Happy girls make for happy guys. They also tend to make for more and better sex with also makes for happy girls and guys!

Let's see, a girl with an upbeat, positive attitude or one who keeps her guard up and avoids social contact? Obviously a girl who is cheerful is going to get farther in life than someone shy and anti-social.
Depends. I'm not sure if I'd say quiet in general cause I'd enjoy conversations with her after all, but I'd not want a girl who's valley girl kinda airhead talking.

A queit mysterious girl can be very nice and relaxing to be with, once you gaint their trust and acceptance they start to open up more.
Peppy cheerful girls are fun too. You can have decent conversations and most are very sweet and helpful.
In between. A girl that has the guts to start a conversation with a guy/be social, but can be quiet/relaxing when the time is right.
I tend to be a bit reserved so I would definitely prefer someone who could be more outgoing to sort of balance me out.
I like in between the most. A girl that's too quiet is not the greatest for me, but I have nothing against it. Girls like to talk and usually are quite social. I like a girl that likes to talk, but not too talkative though.
Maybe because shy mysterious is more of a challenge. It largely forces you to try hard to get to know someone which can be a reward all on its own. Especially when they end up giving vague unresolving answers to all your questions.
I would approach those peppy cheerful girls, all day.
