Girls, do you like or not like popping balloons and how do you deal with it when they need trashed?

Girls, I'm curious, do you like popping latex balloons or do you avoid it or how do you deal with it? The reason I ask is actually sad, my girlfriend is afraid to pop balloons and avoids being around them popping at all costs! It makes me feel so bad for her! I mean balloons are EVERYWHERE! It must make her life a hell! Anyway, is it most girls that hate popping balloons or just one here or there and how do you prefer to pop them or what not?
