Should I pretend like nothing happened?

Apparently was talking sh*t about the girl I like. I wasn't and told her I wasn't. Apologized anyway cause that is what I was told to do when you piss off a woman. She is currently mad at me, I believe. She will be on vacation for two weeks. When I see her should I pretend like nothing happened when I approach her?

Well I texted her last night asking "why do we fight and hate each other so much sometimes?" Nothing, its bittersweet.

I texted her last night asking if she was home yet and how was her trip. Nothing. So today I asked her why she was still ignoring me? I have to see her in person on Wednesday, so I hope I can do something to make her realize that I want to put this behind us and move forward

First of you shouldn't really have to apologize for something you didn't do. Though I know you did in effort to put her at ease and make her feel better. Was a very kind and noble gesture which I'm sure she appreciated.

As far as her being angry at you, I'm sure this will pass, if it hasn't already. If it hasn't, I'm sure t will by the time she returns from vacation.

When she returns, try to talk to her, not at her (yes there's a difference) and get a feel for how she is in general. Show concern and ask her how did her vacation go. Create casual conversation. It will show concern plus you can get a feel for what mood she's in.

If she seems comfortable and at ease, you could casually talk to her about the incident, and give her further explanation if you feel she's able to talk to you about it openly. Again, talk to her, not at her. Its best you speak in a manner that expresses care and concern and not be accusatory, if you feel the need to clear things up. If you feel she isn't open to discuss the incident, then it would probably be a good idea to follow that lead and leave it alone.

Give her reassurance. Let her know that if you did do something that offended her, that it wasn't your intention, and that you will do your best not to do it again. If things are cleared up it wouldn't hurt to apologize for the misunderstanding that may have occurred, it shows concern and I'm sure she would be very appreciative of it.

if she is comfortable should I bring it up or if she brings it up instead. How about if she is still really mad at me or was that the part you mention when she isn't open to talk about it

Just because she may not be open to talk about it doesn't mean she's still mad. In fact, after a 2 week vacation I doubt she will still be mad. Maybe the issue was addressed enough to her satisfaction or she may feel its too trivial to get worked up about. Needless to say, if you bring it up and she says drop it, just let it be, don't try and force the issue because all it will do is cause her to be mad at the fact you can't let things go.

She holds grudges. It was an attempt to fix it before she left. This is the last attempt when she gets back

If u have done or say something inadvertently, u have already apologised to her. Just wait and give her space. Probably u can try to recall why she likes u and be that u again because sometimes guys are too in love with each other and the u which she likes went missing. From there u can advise itself What u should do next.

What was her reaction when you tried to apologize? Maybe in 2 weeks when you see her, ask her how her vacation was and when she seems to relax around you say something like," Hey, I know you were upset at me about something but I don't what it was and I'm really sorry if I hurt you or if you mistook something in anyway." This shows to her that you are genuinely sorry about the situation before and that you were upset you left it on a bad note. Hope this helped :)

Did she reply? And if she did, how was her reply? I personally think if she's not going to accept your apology the last time then you should let her go. I also don't think anybody, guy or girl should be a doormat to their crush. It doesn't really reflect how you are for real except that you'd do anything and that you will let them walk all over you if they want. Hope this helped.

I'd try it, if she brings it up you'll have to try and convince her... The fact you like her would work to your advantage.

i don't see how I like her is my advantage. Now the fact that I think I know the person who is spreading this is a constant pot stirrer and my relationship with the girl I like I imagine is stronger than the pot stirrer.

The advantage is, that it's easier to convince someone you like that you wouldn't say things about them, surely you have an endless list of reasons why you wouldn't do that to her...

i think if you pretend nothing happened...girls will feel you dnt care...maybe buy her flowers or something and show you have made an effort to apologize...and if you like a grl...dnt bad mouth her..altho you say you didnt...keep it cool..n yes us grls like it wen a guy is nice to us :)

But I already apologized and been told dwelling on the past especially negative hurts more than it helps. It will be two weeks since the "incident" if she can't get over it then we are meant to be.

nope she leaves tmrw. And I assume she is still mad at me cause she holds grudges. this time away should make her forget everything

I'd just play it down. When you see her, see how she acts. If she still acts mad, then you can bring it up and try reiterating again that you didn't say whatever she thinks you said. If she's still mad then, there's nothing more you can do.

yeah that's what I'm thinking, she should get over it after her two weeks vacation and most likely forget about it.

Yes, pretend nothing happened, but if she brings it up try to put her mind at ease and ask if you can do something to make it up to her.
