From what someone said, girls aren't much different. It could be that guys and girls each think different, have different thought processes, applied to the same issue, even if the issue is as plain as day, the opposite sex will, for the most part, unless it's esteem issues, be oblivious, or not have any clue of any feelings whatsoever...it's just how each side of the human race (guys vs. girls) are. We each think differently, no matter what the subject at hand is...

I think you answered your own question ;)
It could also be that they aren't into having a relationship. I know I've feigned ignorance before when people have showed interest in me just because I'm not interested in that way.
It's not obvious. The glances and the laughing and the touching and the hugging and the smiles? They go way over guys' heads.

Let me show you what obvious is to guys and girls, from my own real life examples.
Guys being obvious to girls: "You're a cutie, you know that? We should go for drinks!"
Girls griping about how guys didn't pick up on their clues: "I said I like to text, and he didn't ask me for my number!"
Then of course, there is the possibility that he knows, and just doesn't feel attracted enough to you to act on it, or maybe he's simply got other things on his plate and doesn't want to deal with it, which is how it is for me, often. I mean, most of the time you can pick it up, if you're observant around girls.Well, the hints usually aren't very strong. If a girl's being friendly towards me, it's safe to assume that she views me as a friend.
But, yes, I suppose low esteem plays a part in it. Most guys aren't used to, and don't expect to experience, girls hitting on them.Girls are never THAT direct with me...:( lol!
I've improved picking up the signs and stuff over the years. But its still a bit hard to tell with the outgoing/social girls since they're friendly with everyone!I have had major hints dropped and I play dumb so it doesn't hurt her feelings. I would rather appear a moron than have her think she's ugly or undesirable, her only crime was liking me.
Why are girls so mysterious and cryptic about showing it?
Why don't girls just ASK A GUY OUT?
It honestly blows me away when I hear girls complain about this sort of thing, as if guys can read their f***ing minds...i like to pretend I don't know.. besides what if I would be wrong? 0.0
I'd feel stupid if I guessed a girl had a crush on me and she didn't.. I need to be told.. Like when my girlfriend first told me she had a crush on me and she was like "couldn't you tell?", well I had my suspicions but until she told me I ignored it
For me its because I've been mistaken before and don't want to repeat the same again !
Because guys have been taught, through observation, that being too aloof and nonchalant is more attractive than being too eager and jumpy.
Statistically, it works better in the guy's favor to lean more towards being aloof and nonchalant.a girl have a crush on me ? I would be the happiest ugly guy in the world
Or maybe they don't want you and you can't force them with all the glances and smiles in the world.
well I never see or notice girls smiling at me or looking at me
Stop with your bullsh*t hints and maybe they won't be oblivious.
cause you girls are like "omg I sat there and like I flipped my hair and he didn't look why doesn't he like me omgg!?!?!?!?!?"
Why are girls so oblivious when it comes to guys liking them?
sometimes we know but we're not interested.
