How do you know if a girl finds you attractive or unattractive?

If you only consider cases where you've never had a longer conversation with the girl. Are there any good indicators, i.e. body language or behavior , that she finds you attractive or unattractive?

Let's say a guy has been throwing you glances on several occations and you're pretty sure he's interested in you. Would you go out of you way to avoid him completely if you found him unattractive in some way? How would you behave if you instead found him attractive?

Attractiveness is subjective. It consists of several qualities that make someone look attractive. You could look/be attractive because you’re good looking, or funny, or cute, symmetric body, or it’s the way you carry yourself, your behavior…etc of qualities. I guess the more you have of those qualities, the more there will be people out there, who find you attractive. When I say this person is my type=I’m attracted to. There’s a lot of good looking men out there that are not my type=I’m NOT attracted to. There’s also a genetic/biological component of attraction: it’s that instantaneous attraction you feel for someone because your genes are compatible with their genes(it means you will make healthy babies with them). If you’re repelled by someone that exactly means your genes are not compatibles (it’s your brain telling you: avoid person at all costs). There are also a hormonal role, look up the word pheromones, it’s your natural body scent that tells the other person you are right for me. And their way of telling you that is either show interest by smiling, glancing or if they’re shy, they will act awkward around you. It also depends on what they want from you (sex or relationship), I’m sure you should be able to tell.Some people might find you romantically attractive, some people might find you sexually attractive, I don't know what you're looking for.

Thats interesting, thank you. I can't say I was looking for anything really but then I developed this strong crush on a girl. I can't stop thinking about her now. Definitely a much stronger feeling than just sexual desire. The only thing I know is that I want to be close to her.

Let me ask you this; how would you behave if you found the guy to be unattractive? Would you try to avoid him altogether or would you just let him keep glancing, replying his greetings and act normal around him?

so scenario is: someone has a crush on me, he's glancing/ starring at me, and I can notice that he is, but he's unattractive so what would I do?

what I meant by "I don't know what your looking for" is that people will be attracted to you for both reasons (romance or sex). So your personal preference will set the rule. do you prefer people who attracted to you only sexually or romantically (romantically will include sexually). that's the difference by the way being attracted to a girl for a one night stand or for a lifetime, these are 2 types of attractions. One of them(romantic attraction) include the other(sexual) in a sublime way.

If I can see he’s attracted to me, if he’s making it obvious but I’m not attracted to him, I would probably avoid him altogether, if your not getting the message we will make it clear(most girls will because your attention will makes uncomfortable).

Everyone's different but I can't help show signs of a little shyness if I really like someone. If I am fairly relaxed it means I have no interest. If I am a little awkward it means I have. But that's just me! Eye contact, playing with hair, blushing maybe, positioning her body towards you more then normal, Wide eyed, Glazey eyed These may be a few indicators.

This is pretty much what I've seen, and very seldom do girls smile at a guy they are attracted to - until he actually speaks to her, and if she's totally in love with him, then her whole face will light up like a Christmas Tree and you'll see her smile from the other side of the planet (and I'm actually not kidding, exaggerating a bit yes, but not kidding)

I answered your question but I have an issue with the term unattractive, for me unattractive means ugly truth is you're either: Brad Pitt, average=(good lucking but not brad pitt), or ugly ( 2% of population). People say I'm pretty but I think of myself as average, again it's very subjective.

No I wouldn't be comfortable if I knew he liked me and I wasn't feeling it too. I would be a little awkward but in a different way then to if I liked a guy!

It can be hard to tell sometimes. But most Obvious signs are eyecontact smiling laughing at all your jokes. But for shy girls they look away and feel Embarrassed. They look at you when your not looking (Subconscious) for some.

Human pupils dilate when they see something appealing or exciting. For some people a genuine smile will include contraction of the muscles at the corner of the eyes. Look into her eyes and you should have your answer. Others include touching, either you or herself, constant laughing, shyness around you alone, and her being upfront and telling you so.

If they are actively going out of their way to avoid you all the time then yes could mean there is something they don't like about you. Try being upfront and tell her that you like her. There are many ways she can handle that but if she is interested in you she will most likely make it obvious except in some cases where the girl is shy or has social anxiety. If she isn't interested then find some way to put your infatuation with the individual aside and focus your attention elsewhere. Also never mistake kindness for attraction.
