How do I know if I'm not good looking enough for the girl I like?

There was this really good looking girl, and I kinda was convinced that I wasn't good looking enough for her.

Weeks later, I saw her with her boyfriend. And he, to be honest, wasn't that great looking...at least objectively compared to me. Even when I have all the evidence in front of me that I can get with cute/attractive girls, I still feel as though I'm not good looking enough.

I'm sure personality is a big factor and all, but isn't initial attraction/first impressions everything? Why do I still feel this way when I have all the evidence that uglier guys get girls...when I still haven't had my first girlfriend?

Dude, aren't you the same guy that posted a couple of weeks ago about having a great time with a certain special girl? What happened to her? Is this the same girl you're talking about now, the one that apparently has a boyfriend?

Anyway... I'd say there has to be some initial attraction, but looks don't stay on the top of the priority list for too long. It's like what you said, personality is key here. Even more so is being able to keep that tension between you and her, unless you just want to end up in the dreaded "friend zone".

And honestly man, don't go around judging yourself to other guys. There may be something about that dude that she likes (appearance-wise) that you don't know or have. Likewise, a girl can like you for how you look and you'll forever wonder why... it's usually best to just let it be lol.

Oh okay. Well, I mean honestly if you were able to hang out with this one girl then that means she already likes you enough that she's comfortable being with you (maybe not on a romantic level since she's got a boyfriend, but at least as a friendly companion). That said, she's easily looked past your physical flaws (if any). And if what you say is true about her boyfriend not being as good-looking as you, then it shows that this girl isn't shallow and you've got nothing to feel insecure about.
