My boyfriend calls me rude all the time. Should I Break up with him?

So my boyfriend calls me rude all the time. I'm a very outspoken person so when I want to know something I ask. I'm not asking in a mean way I'll be polite. But to him I'm always rude, and he tells me I'm a mean person.. I once had a conversation that was interrupted by the persons (His friends wife) friends. They interrupted a conversation about dogs by saying they were vegans. So I calmly asked, "why?" ... "that was really disrespectful" to ask, "i'm a bad person", he broke up with me because of it. we got back together his friend decided to get baptized LDS, He does drugs drinks all the time. So when we were hanging out he mentioned that and I simply asked, "Doesn't that mean you shouldn't use drugs anymore?" he flipped a bitch... "i'm so mean to his friends"... My boyfriend keeps telling me how rude I am, and how I don't respect anyone. I tried to plan a birthday party for him, asked his sister if we could use his parents house she said no, that the party would never happen, so I started talking to his brother about a surprise party via Facebook, he wouldn't give me his number. I canceled it a week before through his brothers Facebook and asked him to tell whomever he invited that it was canceled. my boyfriend received an angry call the day of his birthday that a bunch of people were waiting for him.. that I planned all of this and because it was his family I didn't respect them so I didn't tell them it was canceled. .. and I'm so inconsiderate and I should have called to cancel it. It was "All my fault" and to "suck it up"... I Do I respect them, But I just want to know the answers... He bought rings and wants to propose but He makes me feel bad about myself... We use to be great, but now we aren't.
