Why does he call me a slut, whore, etc??

There is this guy who I'm good friends with and we have been for a pretty long time now. We tease each other and joke about stupid stuff all the time. However, he has this habit of sometimes "jokingly" calling me a whore or a ho or a slut (and trust me, I am the FARTHEST thing from that). We're good friends so I wouldn't think he's saying those things out of spite or to be rude but still why in the world would a guy call his friend that? And please don't say "well you're obviously not friends" because, trust me, we are.

Its because you will accept it. We like to push our friends too the limit because its funny. Some of my girl mates I could call a slut (but I dont) and I reckon they wouldn't be too angry unless I said it extremely often. Some of my girl mates I would only say it to them if I haven't been punched in the face for a while or wanted them not to speak to me for a very long time. Everyone has their limit. If your upset though but you haven't told then I guess he's just gone over the boundary. I know what your thinking or were thinking. (Its just a little phase he will stop calling me it eventually because he knows am not one anyway) WRONG! Its one of those moments where you pull your friend to the side and say we won't be friends next time you say that because at first it was a joke but now I find it far from funny.

One more thing, if he's saying it infront of both your friends that's disrespectful.

Yea, that's kind of weird if you all are friends. You need to tell him to stop calling you that and how it makes you feel. How is he with woman? Is he a player? Something is wrong with him if he is calling you that and not think anything of it. Its disrespect and I think you let it go on too long that he feels its ok to call you that. he may just like calling women that and probrably knows you won't speak up and that he can talk to you any kind of way. And it doesn't matter if he doesn't mean it. the fact is he is calling you out your name and its time for you to put a end to that. if he is really your friend, he will stop immediately.

It's supposed to be funny. It's funny for the same reasons that it's funny when someone nicknames their huge beefy friend 'Tiny.' I never seriously use the term 'slut,' but I do call a couple of my friends that on occasion. If they were to tell me it bothers them, I'd stop doing it. Likewise, if you don't like that he jokes with you like that, tell him you don't like it, and I'm sure he'd stop.

You are the opposite of a slut which is why he calls you that jokingly. The thing is, that's not something you joke about it's kind of disrespectful. But if you are OK with that level of disrespect and don't set boundaries then he will keep doing it and now it's a running joke.

He's just joking around with you, he's doing that because he thinks you can take it. You're good friends so he isn't being serious! Just tell him to stop if it annoys you.
